Apogee is a talent platform operated by SWIFT — Space Workforce Incubator for Texas. Our mission is to connect the next generation of space economy professionals with the companies building humanity's future in space. Our platform is accessible at app.swiftrocket.org.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account and build your profile:

• Name, email address, and account credentials
• Professional history, education, skills, and certifications
• Portfolio documents and uploaded files
• Profile preferences and interests
• Messages sent through the platform

We also collect limited technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, and session activity, to operate the platform securely.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Present your profile to employers searching the platform
• Facilitate communication between candidates and employers
• Improve the platform experience
• Send transactional messages (account confirmations, platform notifications)
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse

4. Who can see your profile

Astronaut profiles (candidates) are visible only to verified Mission Controllers (employers) who have been granted access to the platform by SWIFT administrators. Candidate profiles are never visible to other candidates. Employers cannot see other employer accounts.

5. Third-party services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Supabase — database and file storage
• Vercel — hosting and deployment
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Data retention

We retain your profile data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personally identifiable information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level database security, and session monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
