1. About Apogee

Apogee is a talent platform operated by SWIFT — Space Workforce Incubator for Texas. It connects space economy job seekers (Astronauts) with verified hiring professionals (Mission Controllers). By creating an account and using the platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Apogee. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.

3. Account types

There are two types of user accounts on Apogee:

  • Astronaut accounts — open to any individual seeking opportunities in the space economy. Free to create.
  • Mission Controller accounts — for verified employers and hiring managers. These accounts are invite-only and issued at the discretion of SWIFT.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile
  • Use the platform to harass, spam, or contact users outside of its intended purpose
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that does not belong to you
  • Circumvent or interfere with the platform's security measures
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the platform without permission

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Apogee, including your profile information, documents, and portfolio items. By uploading content, you grant SWIFT a limited, non-exclusive licence to display and process that content for the purpose of operating the platform — for example, making your profile visible to Mission Controllers.

6. Profile visibility

Astronaut profiles are visible to verified Mission Controllers on the platform. By creating a profile, you consent to your profile information being presented to those employers. You can delete your profile at any time to remove it from search results.

7. Intellectual property

The Apogee platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by SWIFT. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the right to use the platform as described here.

8. Disclaimers

Apogee is provided as-is. SWIFT does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in employment, interviews, or any specific outcome. We do not verify the accuracy of employer or candidate information beyond what is technically feasible. We are not responsible for the hiring decisions of Mission Controllers or the conduct of users toward one another.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SWIFT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time. SWIFT reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or that have been inactive for an extended period. We will attempt to provide notice before termination where reasonably possible.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
